ENGINE
Big block ford 460c.i.(7,600) or 950cc per pot and there's 8 of 'em. Built by Stateside Autoparts.
It's running 11:1 compression ratio. TRW forged pistons.
Competion Cam's - camshaft :- 0.581 inch lift & 305 degrees duration (full race).
The heads are 429 Cobra Jet mustang items, ported & polished.
Carb is a Holley 850c.f.m. double pumper, running through a Weiland Stealth inlet manifold.
The exhausts are all light weight stainless steel - 2inch primary headers and 3inch main pipes & 6 inch silencers all home made by a chap called Colin Freeman , who did most of the engineering work on the car- a very clever bloke.
All the pulleys are billet aluminium and are machined to run exactly inline with each other.
Crank pulley is a Summit Racing item.
Radiator is from a Lincoln Continental with light weight engine fan & 2 electric fans to try and keep it cool.
Mallory dual point distributor, Aacell high output yellow coil and 8mm ignition leads.
